HDC MK II®
HDC Mk II® is a chelate used as a highly effective stimulation fluid. It is not an acid. HDC Mk II® dissolves barite (BaSO4), CaCO3, other sulphate compounds, some clays, dehydrates and shrinks clays, and tends to act as a de-emulsifier and has no precipitate or gaseous by-products. HDC Mk II® will also dissolve BaSO4 scale. It is environmentally benign and safe to handle. A superior replacement for acid.
