SD27X
SD27X is a chelate used as a highly effective stimulation fluid. It is not an acid. SD27X dissolves barite (BaSO4), CaCO3, other sulphate compounds, some clays, dehydrates and shrinks clays, and tends to act as a de-emulsifier and has no precipitate or gaseous by-products. SD27X will also dissolve BaSO4 scale. It is environmentally benign and safe to handle. A superior replacement for acid.
